Press Corporation plc has issued a revised trading statement indicating a significant upward adjustment in its profit forecasts for the financial year ended 31st December 2024.
Initially, the company projected a consolidated profit after tax ranging between MK115.70 billion and MK122.48 billion, marking an increase of 54% to 63% compared to the previous year’s profit of MK75.05 billion. However, following further reviews, Press Corporation plc now expects consolidated profit after tax to fall between MK125.14 billion and MK129.05 billion. This represents a notable increase of 67% to 72% from the previous year’s figures.
The company has also revised the profit attributable to its owners. Initially estimated to be between MK59.21 billion and MK63.14 billion, this figure is now expected to be between MK64.88 billion and MK67.44 billion. This would reflect a rise of 64% to 69% from the MK40.42 billion recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
